Membership

We are excited to offer a range of membership levels. All members will have access to our workshops, member discounts and seminars to expand their knowledge and skills. Connect with fellow members through our online forums, where you can exchange ideas, seek advice, and forge meaningful connections.

 

Corporate Membership

Available to companies licensed in the province of Alberta by the Solicitor General. Agency memberships come with one Individual membership; this individual will represent your agency in association business. Agencies hold one vote in association business. Agency members will be listed on the AAPI website on the Find an Investigator page.

Individual Membership

Available to individual investigators licensed in the province of Alberta by the Solicitor General. Individual members hold one vote in association business. Individual members will NOT be listed on the AAPI website.

Individual Membership Form

 

Associate Membership

Available to any agency or individual not qualifying for another membership category. Associate memberships are non-voting and do not have a say in association business. Associate members will NOT be listed on the AAPI website.

Associate Membership Form

 

Life Membership

Available to any individual who has maintained their membership in good standing for over ten years and reached sixty-five years of age. Life members hold one vote in association business. Life members will be listed on the AAPI website with their professional biography.

 

Honorary Membership

Available to companies or individuals who have contributed significantly to the objective of AAPI. Honorary members are non-voting and do not have a say in the association's business. Honorary members must be recommended and approved by the board of directors; their application is then brought forward at an Annual General Meeting for a vote by the general membership. Honorary members will be listed on the AAPI website with a description of their contributions to the association.

Your application will be reviewed by the AAPI board of directors and vetted with Alberta Justice and Solicitor General.
